UrbanisChic

UrbanisChic

Urban style rules in slinky black, studded leather and graffiti graphics; let's give this style a turn and make it more chic and classic.

I begin with choosing a Tibi dress.  This brand has capture attention regarding it's prevailing vision season after season; chic, with prints that get the best of art work; geometric forms with aesthetic ways on putting everything together.

The accesories on this kind of look are fundamental, this is where we begin to play, we can choose heavy glam pieces pairing them with a total vintage chic garment. You can also over charge a little bit your outfit with jewerly maintaining the urban picks for it.

Try not to make it boring by giving color, strong colors that make you lighten up your outfit. Although black and white are a constant, divert the classic with a sparkles of colorful touch. You can see on this post, a chanel vintage bag on pastel color, well, that's the gentle chic touch I choose to give to the strong urban.

“I wanted to give a woman comfortable clothes that would flow with her body. A woman is closest to being naked when she is well-dressed.”

Boyfriend Denim

Boyfriend Denim

Currently, these jeans are having their time on the spotlight. They are majors on street style all around the globe. They show confidence and comfort.

They were created to show more of a unisex style, some male garment that can be turn into a glam female garment. In fact, they are more fit for females than for males in the begining. They are recognize by rolling up the bottom of the jean with the worn touch of course.

Urban chic look, have become the favorites of everyone who wants to give a different touch. This kind of look can never make your outfit frumpy, neither totally polished, find a balance by using more glam items on the rest of the outfit.

At the time you buy a pair, you cannot get two sizes more, I've seen some random girls extremely oversized by them; trashy isn't what we all look for. Always buy jeans that fits you, not attached to the skin, something comfortable that keeps what this jean is made for.

Here is my look inspired by boyfriend jeans. I recommend stilettos and a crossbody clutch, always give a fresh girlish air just as you are.

Take your boyfriend jeans out of "his" closet for a ride and wear them with confidence! Have a nice week!

Front Row

Front Row

We are on fashion weeks and runway seasons. Most of us have the opportunity to be a part of it, as guests, backstage or whatever, so we have to dress according to the occasion.

To participate on these kind of events, you don't need to be a fashion victim, you don't have to go desperately to wear designer garments if their not your style. Take a deep breath; of course you have to dress properly, casual, and is a nice touch if your outfit owns an item of the designer you are going to watch, but if you don't, nothing happens. A great style and outfit is always worthy to admire if its impeccable and perfectly worn.

Choose casual street style items, make it fresh, always wear stilettos, never jeans and don't over do your make up and accessories.

Talking a little of the latest fashion weeks in the world, I can honestly say that nothing significant has change in terms of colors for this season, even for the resorts collection for 2014.

Black and white are still the masters of the runways and the streetstyle, we've seen it on designers such as Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, among others. Nude is in almost every runway on Paris fashion week, H&M, Veronique Branquinho and Zuhair Murad. The colors that designers have in common are blue, is back to the spotlight, yellow, aqua and purple. Cedric Charlier is on my opinion one of the big winners on his fall/winter collection. Love it.

Back to were we started, be on aware of what fashion is bringing to you every season but don't ever turn yourself into a victim. Pursuit your personal style and keep it.

Be Jewel

Be Jewel

Accessorize your outfit cannot be as complex as some people think it is.

This season, we have the come back of rococo style, also referred to as "late baroque", big recharged necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Vintage is totally on and every piece of garment must have colorful touches. Take out all your inherited vintage stuff!

I chose two different types of outfits to match it with unlimited types of accessories. If you are the more conservative kind of girl, you can pick plain basic colors like black and white and adding the colorful touch just with a necklace or so; but if you are more edgy and like to mix all kinds of colors, pick colorful tops and bottom too. Have the precaution of chosing the same gamma colors just to not look like a clown.
If you chose printed top, for example, try a plain gold/silver necklace.

Notice that all the accessories match perfectly with the two outfits. That's the idea, no complications. Even gold and silver together are in right now.

If the necklace, for example, is too big, try not to wear anything else, maybe a watch and a small bracelet or ring and that's it. Focus all the attention in just one thing.

Extend your horizons into a new waves of vintage. Have a colorful season!
